Whale Watching in Queensland

There are so many amazing things about living here, and we have Whale Watching right here in Queensland, on our own doorstep !!

This time of year is when these amazing creatures are migrating North along our shores and it is an amazing spectacle, and another reason to pinch yourselves that we actually live here 🙂

Now you can either pack a picnic and a pair of binoculars and go and sit on a beach and just wait and watch or you can go on an actual boat trip, out into the ocean and get up close and personal with these amazing creatures

There are many places up and down the coast you can do this from the Golf coast up to Hervey Bay.

We went down to the Gold coast and went on ” The Spirit of Gold Coast ” which was a fabulous day !

We went down early one morning and did their 2 1/2 hr cruise and with morning tea provided, the air was cool and crisp and perfect as we gentle glided through the water for about 30mins with dolphins alongside the boat ….and  then whales upon whales, and it was spectacular !
