Restaurant review Ole Fuego

We had an evening the other night when we just had our beautiful 17yr old daughter so we took her out for a quick dinner between her grade 12 studies

We didn’t want to go too far from home and decided to try Ole Fuego as we haven’t been before but have driven past it many times. It is another of the lovely new restaurants at Indooroopilly shopping centre and has massive open windows out onto the street which creates a definite buzz especially of an evening

This is a tapas restaurant which we just love ! and they have a great selection of yumminess to chose from !

We ordered 6 dishes which was plenty between the 3 of us

Spiced potatoes which a red chilli alioli . Sauteed mushrooms, fino sherry, San Simon cheese and crusty bread were 1st up

Then for some meat … and wow very very yummy !!!

We had  char grilled pork ribs, with smoked pimeto, and then slow cooked lamb belly with gio blanc and roast grapes and finally some pan fried sausages with pickled guindillas

As you can imagine we demolished all of this 🙂

But amazingly there was room for dessert ! the miracle of that special area in your stomach just for those sweet treats 🙂

So we had churros, and some nougat and honey parfait with almond praline and strawberries

the service was really quick and our waitress was so lovely and helpful with our choices as we nearly ordered way too much food but she guided us so well and we ate everything !!

So Ole Feugo gets a definite Joy thumbs up from us
