Restaurant Review – Harajuku Gyoza

Dear Joy Readers

Here is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants. Harajuku Gyoza now has four locations round Brisbane. They are at Indooroopilly Shopping Town, Fortitude Valley, Southbank and now in the CBD on Albert Lane.

This is a great little Japanese restaurant that specialises in Gyoza and Rice beer that is imported from Japan. They have a few other items on their menu which we have tried including Edamame, Pork Belly Kakuni, Tebasaki Wings, Beef Gyudon, Pork Katsudon and Chicken Katsu Curry. There are also a few sweet treats on the menu, which I still haven’t tried as we always struggle to go past the savoury treats.

All the dishes are outstanding and service is very friendly. Remember you can’t make a booking, so if you get there later in the evening you have to wait for table. The good news is that their turn around is really quite quick and you won’t have to wait to long. I do know from experience with the Fortitude Valley restaurant they will take your number and call you when the table is ready, that way you can pop off somewhere for a pre dinner drink while you wait. We have also been able to sit at their bar at the Indooroopily store and have a drink while we waited for our table.

We love Harajuku as it is also family friendly and the prices are very reasonable. If you follow us on Instagram you will see our Waiter Erick up there, so if you decide to check out Harajuku tell Erick that the Girls from the Joy Project say hi!!!!!

Blessings The Joy Girls xx
