Another one on Noosa today, as we wanted to let you of a few of our favourite places to eat, but overlooking the water this time 🙂
Jo in her previous blog on Noosa covered some of the main ones on Hastings street, but this time we wanted to tell you of a few of our favourites that are a little more tucked away and most with stunning water views.
So 1st up we have Rickys,
Which is a stunning water front restaurant offering fine dining. So if you are wanting some place special for a romantic evening out, or a special birthday, or infact just a beautiful evening, drinking delicious wine, and eating scrummy food ( yep count me in 🙂 ) then Rickys is truly magical with all its lights and being able to arrive by river taxi if you chose.
We had such a wonderful evening here, it was our youngest’s birthday and they were so lovely and treated him like a king for the night and finished off with a big bowl of ice cream, sprinkles and sparklers and all sang to him, which caused great embarrassment at the time but was a great source of pride afterwards so many thanks guys !
These guys also own Woodfire which is next door and also has great reviews so let us know if you eat there 🙂
Now if you are wanting a more relaxed fun evening, while still looking out over the river, then Gympie terrace is the place to go. We found ourselves there one evening, and came across this absolutely awesome place called iS Tapas bar These guys were super busy when we arrived, but the awesome manager Claye, squeezed us in on the bar table at the front over looking the river and the perfect place for people watching on an evening 🙂 .The menu is super family friendly ! and delicious ! we just love Tapas as a family as we just love food and to be able to get a taste of so many yummy things well you can’t beat that. A cold beer, some great food, happy kids and chocolate cake to finish what’s not to love ?
There is a great atmosphere in this place although it is only small, its a fun place. So make sure you stop in and tell Claye, JOY sent you 🙂
There are many many great coffee shops and other restaurants on the water for us still to explore so we’ll be back for sure 🙂
This last one is not on the water, but I couldn’t write this blog and not mention them, as if you love amazing stunning Italian food, simply and organically made then this place is a must IPAZZI . These guys are in Sunshine beach and their food is cooked with passion and no complications and is just delicious . They are just on the high street and many of the tables are on the streets, its BYO so get yourselves a yummy bottle of red and head on down to them .
So many great places to eat around us lovelies and so little time. But get up to Noosa, go and sit by the water and enjoy a scrummy meal and take a deep breath and realise this is where you get to be, even if its just for a couple of days.
How blessed we are 🙂
