Movie Time

If you are wanting to head out to the movies with the family and don’t want to spend a fortune then you need to head to the Cineplexes that are around Brisbane.

There is one at Hawthorne, Bulimba (which they actually call Balmoral which is a little confusing I know, but it is situated at Bulimba)

and Southbank. These Cinemas are super cheap, the snacks are reasonably priced and also Southbank and Bulimba offer 4 hours free parking when you see a movie. We love heading to Balmoral and Soutbank as we can always see a movie and then head out to one of the fabulous restaurants for a meal that you can find at Bulimba, Southbank itself and of course Little Stanley Street.

Now if you are off to the movies without the kids then you can always head to the Blue Room at Rosalie, The Palace Barracks at Paddington and Palace Centro Cinemas in New Farm. These Cinemas are great for a date night, not only can you see a movie but you can grab a meal and a glass of wine to take into the movie with you.

We recently went to the Blue room at Rosalie for a private showing of a movie and had the entire cinema with a group of people we knew, it was fabulous. If you have enough people you can book a cinema out for all your friends. It holds roughly 25 people.
