Madders Brothers Patisserie – Time for a Treat

Dear Joy Readers

Well we have an absolute treat for you. As two of my three children were starting school a day earlier then their big sister, I thought it was a perfect opportunity for some mummy daughter time and we decided to sneak out and check out a new little patisserie in Jamboree Heights tucked away in a little back street that we had no idea was there. This little gem that my husband put us on to was amazing. The Madders Brothers patisserie is located at Guide Street Jamboree Heights. The bakery where everything is baked daily is right next door to this lovely little coffee shop.

They serve cold drinks and coffee and hot chocolates at very reasonable prices.

Now the great thing here is that all the delectable little morsels that you can try are only a little bit bigger than a bite. We struggled with our decision for a while but in the end settled on a salted caramel tart, key lime tart, caramel tart and a chocolate pop top cake. Due to the size of each little treat you can order a couple of different ones and not feel guilty.

If you are anything like me and have trouble choosing a favourite don’t worry you can order a few at a time and slowly work your way through the list of treats.

My daughter and I did make a little pact that we would have to keep coming back until we have tried everything. You can order one at a time or we opted for 4 pieces for $12 which is very reasonable considering that they are all little pieces of edible art.

The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The coffee shop is not huge but very tastefully decorated and comfortable.

Madders Brothers is the perfect place to go to if you are having a high tea, birthday party, baby shower or any special function were you wanted beautiful works of art to serve for dessert. It would also be fantastic to pick up a few treats to serve at the end of a dinner party.

So if you get the chance pop in and let them know the Joy Girls sent you.

Blessings

The Joy Girls xx
