Hello Joy Friends,
Well Christmas is almost here, and I am not sure how the year passed so quickly. We thought we would share a few of our favourite places to shop for beautiful Christmas gifts and baubles.
Chrissy here, I was lucky enough to score an invitation to the opening of Peter Baker-Finch’s Christmas Grotto, so I thought I would take Sarah and Jo along and surprise them both with a little bit of Brisbane that they didn’t know about. I have a little tradition with my children at Christmas time, I take them along to Peter Baker-Finch and they are all allowed to pick out one new decoration for our tree. I love that each Christmas we are adding to the beauty of the tree and how carefully they treat each of these items.
Upon arriving for the evening we were offered a glass of champagne and stood quite mesmerized by the beautiful live Jazz band, and then we remembered there was shopping to be done. It was fabulous to see the other girls faces when they saw the Christmas grotto. It looked so magical with all of the lights on and the atmosphere was amazing. Peter Baker-Finch is open 7 days a week.
We had a beautiful evening surrounded by gorgeous Christmas decorations and a shop so full of beautiful gifts we could have easily completed our Christmas shopping in one outing. And a little secret for you all Sarah was spotted by the paparazzi and will be appearing in the next QMag.
Now for those of you who like a little Christmas Market there are a few really great ones coming up.

Will be held along the cobbled Stanley Street and will form a part of the South Bank Christmas festivities including live carol concerts, festive film screening and fireworks displays. Store holders will be selling Christmas themed produce.
And lastly the Indulge Designer Markets will be held on the 30 November 2014 from 1pm to 4pm at the Brisbane Montessori School Hall. There information is at www.indulgedesignermarkets.com.au. There are goody bags for the first 100 people to turn up and a chance to winn $1000.00 worth of Xennox diamonds.
